I love finding new way to use this set.  Today I made pennants from the party hats.  Yes, I know that sounds like something that you would do after a few drinks, but we are talking card making here okay?

Can you see the party hats here? All I did was stamp them out in three different colours, cut them out and hand-drew a string for them to hang on (you can’t have your pennants just laying on the floor, well not until the party is over anyway!). I’ve used stampin’ dimensionals topop them up so that they appear to be hanging in the air.  Don’t they look festive and as if a party is just about to happen? So where are the presents?

Here they are! A pennant for every year that the birthday boy has been blowing out candles and enough presents to sink a ship! And a random soccer ball just flying in on the side ~ what little boys’ party doesn’t have a soccer ball flying around?

All supplies used are Stampin’ Up:

Inks: Brilliant Blue, Green Galore (both retiring) and Real Red

Card Stock: Green Galore, Brilliant Blue (retiring at the end of the month too!)

Till next time ~ happy stamping!
