CraftAway was held on Sunday at Aspendale Gardens Community Centre.  Many, many cards were made (approximately 252!) and I think a few new friendships too. It was a day to raise money for the Hazel Hawke Alzheimer’s Research and Care fund. Check out the photos here to see what it was all about.  The final tally for the day was a touch over $600 raised, 23 raffle prizes won, 532 cards made, a ‘heap’ of yummy sausage rolls eaten and loads of laughs.

Close up of one of the cards. Oooh, look at the sparkly wing!

Here’s a corner of one of the cards ,”Love Life” .  See that glittery wing? Well that’s not the only place we got glitter. It was everywhere, which is where I think glitter should be!

More news and projects once we have resumed normal transmission (i.e. when I have  finished unpacking from Sunday and sorting out the chaos that is called a workroom!)
